24 Straight Months Catching Speckled Trout in Bayou Chico

This was a milestone trip for Bayou Chico in Pensacola, Florida. With the one speckled trout caught today, I extended my streak to 24 straight months catching a trout. My guess as to why trout hold in Bayou Chico year round is the variety of water depths that are so close together. There is very deep water as it’s an industrial area and then there are areas of shallow water. The fish can move from one area to the other quickly without much effort.
