Fishing and the Blues

This trip took place in the middle of a major peak around 10:30 am at Bayou Chico in Pensacola, Florida. There was odd water movement for the day as water in the middle of the bayou was going out but the closer I got to the mouth of the bayou the water was coming in. I suspect the water draining into the bayou was trying to go out while the tide and east wind was blowing water into the bayou. I caught 4 speckled trout on the usual 4” white paddletail and 1/4 ounce jig head. The highlight of the trip was seeing the end of a practice session by the Navy Blue Angels.
