Productive Afternoon in Mobile Bay - Eastern Shore

This was a midday trip in Fairhope ,Alabama. There was a slight chop on the water and was perfect for spotting fish slicks. Fishing structure didn’t produce anything. The winds were north west so if I got a whiff of a fish smell I would cast into the wind. I caught a few trout fishing the slicks and one speckled trout measured close to 19 inches. I threw the standard 4” Slam Shady at the start and finished with a 4” Z-man Sexy Mullet and an Unfair Lurers Rip-n-Slash.
