Redfish Caught on Wake Bait in Bayou Chico

I didn’t get any bites east of the bridge so decided to try the back of the bayou. Since I was fishing shallower water I started to throw a wake bait from Academy Sports. I was blind casting around the grassy areas on the north side and caught this nice redfish. It wasn’t huge but it did get the skunk off the kayak.
