Skunked in Fairhope Alabama

This trip in Fairhope, Alabama was a total bust. I launched at the start of a major peak and had high hopes for a successful morning. The fish had other ideas. I threw white and purple/chartreuse paddle tails and no bites. Schools of big mullet were all around so it looked promising. I did get some bumps but I think it was just the lurer hitting up against the mullet. It didn’t feel like actually bites. Can’t catch fish every trip but it was good to be on the water in between jobs.
